Harvard Harris GOP Poll, DeSantis Going the Wrong Way – President Trump Pushing 60% With GOP Voters
The Last Refuge ^ | June 16, 2023 | Sundance

The best laid plans of Sea Island Rats are falling apart, as the DeSantis operation cries desperately for help from the U.S. Dept of Justice and Republican National Committee.

According to the latest Harvard-Harris poll of GOP voters {DATA HERE}, since he made his official launch, Ron DeSantis is losing ground. Not surprisingly this was exactly what we predicted would happen once the bloom came off the ruse.

[POLLING DATA HERE]

Things don’t get any better for Ron DeSantis if all the candidates drop out and leave him and Trump in a head-to-head matchup. President Trump jumps to 67%, and Ron DeSantis holds at 33% with all of the GOPe support coalesced. The familiar 4:1 ratio surfaces again.

IMHO, DeSantis has mostly look like a very good prospective candidate, mostly....
but for maybe Pres. Trump’s next vice president in 2024 and possibly Prez in 2028.
We have a fine 2024 Prez candidate already in Pres Trump... who keeps gaining more and more support (now including a substantial number of the D-voters of our acquaintence as the leftist abuse of legal process against him continues to pile up higher and deeper... if there’s one thing Americans believe in it is our nation’s aspired values ... including equal justice and due process for all... with a fair, honest, and impartial judicial system... things that the D party bosses have patently destroyed ... and which President Trump may well be able to restore for us... hopefully, anyway)

Its like the DNC keeps banging its hammer on a nail.. they more they strike Trump, the deeper hold he gets on the wider American electorate

(and while its a tragic situation, it is also humorous ... in that with two totally fake “impeachments” and with all sorts of filthy slanders about him...and with the obvious abusive tax prosecution... and now with this ridiculous breakin of his home and “criminal” prosecution........the DNC apparachniks have failed to prove a single thing against him, they’ve not even been able to produce one shread of credible evidence that he’s ever done a single thing wrong.......
not even a jaywalking ticket! HA!, what a farce the D party bosses are! Very very bad, evil ...yes yes, but farcical too.

That equates to about 100 million Trump voters.

I like DeSantis, but he was STUPID to take on Trump.

He would have been a front-runner in 2028

I seem to recall that Trump started the backstabbing of DeSantis once he started to get scared of him. Trump lackeys on here calling DeSantis Bud Lite, swamp lover and other lying BS are FOS and they know it. It’s about a year away from the primaries bucko, so don’t get your jollies too quick. Nobody seems to attack his policies, just personality attacks. While almost all agree the DOJ/FBI regime assault on Trump are crooked, insidious, and a thousand other adjectives. the prize is in November 2024. The Dimcraps are likely to win if Big Mouth Donnie is the GOP guy. Stop behaving like the Dims do when they attack anybody who is not a leftist, like you do when any conservative supports Ron not Don.

Trump started attacking DeSantis once word got out that the GOP establishment was grooming DeSantis to challenge Trump in 2024 — even while DeSantis was still running for governor in 2022.

Ron should have waited until 2028.
He is done for 24 and for 28.
I guess he could not resist all that Big money from Anti-Trump Donors
to run. He felt bullet proof and 10’ Tall.
Shameful that Ron blew his chances for 28.
Just like Lying Ted blew his chance of ever being President.

I don’t understand why so many people say that Ron DeSantis is not going to be a contender in 2028.

Many presidential candidates do not get the nomination the first time they run for president.

People here talk as if you get one shot in the primaries , and if you don’t make it through that time, that you can never run for president again. History simply disproves that.

From my perspective he’ll be seen as the guy who allowed himself to be uaed by the GOPe to take out Trump, nothing more. Shady Ron shouldn’t be trusted

Many presidential candidates do not get the nomination the first time they run for president.

The only way that works is if, like Reagan, they are actually honorable (DeSantis is not), or, if like GHB, the move to the right in their policy positions (like Abortion). Otherwise, in todays hyper-vigilent and knowledgeable GOP Voter Base, there is no way this will occur. Add in the now perceptible large minority of MAGA voters in the voter base, and DeSanctimonious doesn't have a chance.

The GOP nominee will need to have more than 90% GOP support in order to beat the Dem.

None were serious runs until 2015-2016.
