If the verdict is already in, then what’s the point of fast-tracking the case? Wouldn’t it be preferable for this “deep state” to drag it through the 2024 campaign season?

They still have the Georgia case and the January 6 case. Those two if he’s indicted (he will) will drag on through the campaign season.

Right... I think Trump is happy. This case is garbage and Im not sure the defense needs a whole lot of time to produce reasonable doubt. This case is in Florida and the judge is a Trmup appointee so Im thinking its a as close to ideal as it can get for Trump.
