I’m a Desantis fan, property in Florida. I watched multiple live streams when he was announcing a new policy, or addressing an issue, whatever, and he was great.
On the prez trail, he’s awful. I can’t explain it. And I’m becoming more irritated that he’s not spending his time on Florida.

I've wondered how many pro-Trumpers in FL are people who love, love, love DeSantis as governor and want Trump to win prez in part so they can keep DeSantis as governor.

I’m not in FL. I think the guy is fantastic but this was not the cycle for him to jump in. Should have waited until 2028 when Trump is flushed out of the process either 2 terms and done or gives up. Trump a force of nature.

He’s simply inexperienced at the National Swamp level, and doesn’t have his own voice. He should fully support Trump without the distracting Establishment interference. And his chances will then improve as a National candidate.
