What corporate owners get out of fascism is a government-enforced monopoly. What the government gets out of it is complete control of production. What the people get out of it is screwed.

His father was a Nazi and owned a factory that used slave labor.

Hope this tidbit helps clear things up.

Merging of state and corporate power?

That's what Mussolini did, pretty much explicitly. As distinct from dismantling corporations the way the Communists did. The point either way is central planning.

It's also what seems to be "evolving" in the USA and mostly everywhere. Even Communist China went that way, approaching from the opposite direction.

So, Fascism. But don't call it that. Save that name for people like us.

The useful idiots in the US who are facilitating this will at some point not be useful any more. It won’t be pretty…

The merging of state and corporate power? It’s called fascism, and we are already well on the way. Krupp would feel vindicated.

Yes.

And sadly government wants to collude with business, while business wants to be in bed with government. They have an affinity for one another and it actually takes policy makers, politicians and government senior buerocrats, a juridical system, true “watchdog media,” to prevent what is sort of a natural merging of power, but which is extremely dangerous.

This is actually textbook fascism in which government “partners” with business. Marxism fully subsumes everything into the state.
