This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“Three charged with sending Russia over $7 million in electronics to aid war on Ukraine”
“Three people were arrested in New York City on charges of illegally smuggling millions of dollars’ worth of U.S.-origin electronics to Russia in order to aid the country’s invasion of Ukraine.
Nikolay Goltsev, Salimdzhon Nasriddinov and Kristina Puzyreva are accused of evading sanctions in order to send Russia equipment used in their precision-guided missile systems.
The defendants allegedly dispatched hundreds of shipments of restricted items, worth nearly $7.2 million, to Russia over the course of a year.”

A NYT piece a few days ago revealed that the US has built a "FrankenSAM" system based on Ukrainian/Russian Radars (probably from S-300 systems that are now out of missiles) with Patriot launchers. While the US only has about 50 active Patriot batteries, we likely have a large number of older/inactive M901/902 launchers that could be put into service with no loss of US capabilities.
We already knew about the BUK-Sea Sparrow FrankenSAM system, but we now know of FrankenSAM systems for Patriot, HAWK and Sidewinder as well. These systems are more "expendable" than the high value Patriot, NASAMS, IRIS-T SLM, and SAMP/T batteries, and might be more likely to be pushed to the front.

https://kyivindependent.com/bloomberg-eu-considering-12th-sanctions-package-on-russia/
“The European Union is discussing the adoption of a 12th round of sanctions against Russia, which would target $5.3 billion in trade, Bloomberg reported on Oct. 31.
The new package would include export restrictions on “welding machines, chemicals and further technologies used for military purpose.”
In addition, “software license bans and restrictions on imports of a small number of processed metals and aluminum products, construction items, transportation-related goods and diamonds” were also being considered.
One of the primary aims of the proposed package would be to target Russia’s ability to circumvent existing sanctions by doing business through third-party countries.
Despite a ban on their export to Russia, Western-made technology has continued to be used in the production of Russian military equipment, often arriving in Russian or Iranian factories through neighboring countries like Kyrgyzstan or Turkey.
It also will attempt to tackle enforcement gaps relating to the illegal transit of Russian oil. Currently, there is a $60-per-barrel price cap set on the trade of Russian oil, but there are also ways to bypass this.
Russia has used a “shadow fleet of hundreds of vessels to move the shipments.” The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed targeted sanctions on companies caught violating this price cap, but the proposed sanctions package illustrates that there is more work to be done.
In total, the proposed package would add more than 100 individuals and almost 50 entities to the sanctions list.”

“Israel downplays intelligence ministry document that proposed relocating of millions of Gazans to Egypt”
“Israel’s prime minister is downplaying a leaked intelligence ministry document that proposed the relocation of millions of Palestinians to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.
“This is a preliminary paper, like dozens of such papers prepared by all political and security echelons,” Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement. “The ‘day after’ is a topic that has not been discussed by official Israeli channels, which are now focused on dismantling Hamas’ governing and military abilities.”
The document is dated October 13 — just days after the Hamas terror attack — and was published on the website Sicha Mekomit. In it, the intelligence ministry lays out three options for dealing with civilians in Gaza after the Hamas attacks and the outbreak of war.
The paper’s authors concluded that “Alternative C,” which calls for relocating Gaza’s civilian population to the northern Sinai, would be best for Israel’s long-term security.
As part of the plan, tent cities would be constructed in the area, with more permanent cities being constructed at a later date. The plan also calls for a humanitarian corridor to aid the resettled population and a security perimeter to be created to prevent them from entering Israel.
The acknowledgment of the paper by the Israeli government will likely intensify suspicion amongst Arab nations in the region that Israel is deliberately trying to displace Palestinians permanently. Egypt and Jordan have warned that any plan to transfer Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank to their respective countries would escalate conflict in the region.”
Or just send the Gazans to the Sinai desert

Other options considered (in addition to tent cities in the Egyptian Sinai) include:
- Letting the PA from the West Bank administer Gaza
- Having Israel resume direct control over Gaza.
Another possibility is a mixed option, with part of the current population dispersing somewhere beyond Gaza. (long a big political issue, with many Muslim countries wanting to keep that population in place, as a long term lever against Israel).
If enough of the housing stock and infrastructure is destroyed however, some number of people would be better able to be logistically supported elsewhere.
Urban warfare requires dropping a lot of buildings. Israel may have to work through Gaza city, like Iraq worked through Mosul - a hundred kilotons of high explosives, one targeted strike at a time.

It is worth noting that those three nations have sent ships to the area, with ground forces aboard that seem suitable to stand up that mission.
The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, in the case of the United States.
Those units could also serve well in a Non-combatant Evacuation Operation of our (and our Allies) citizens from the area.
I'd hate to see the 26th MEU used for peacekeeping. They are well trained for evacuations, where they have clear authority and rules of engagement - kill anyone who is a threat to allied forces and the civilians they are evacuating.
Most of the NCOs in the MEU have combat experience, the Senior NCOs a lot of it, and they learned under NCO's that also had combat experience. I don't doubt they could perform well as peacekeepers, but they are much better at killing people and breaking things. As peacekeepers they will be targets and operating under strict ROEs. And under what multinational command structure? UN? After evacuations, the US can keep a MEU in the Med in case the peacekeepers need rescue.
“Biden would veto House GOP’s Israel aid package, White House says”
“President Biden would veto a package put forward by House Republicans to provide aid to Israel while cutting funding for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and leaving out funding for other national security priorities, the White House said Tuesday.
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) picked apart the House GOP proposal in a lengthy statement of administration policy, arguing it “inserts partisanship into support for Israel” and fails to meet the moment by leaving out humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza and aid for Ukraine and allies in the Indo-Pacific.”
