This is how true change comes about and we need more of this. Just because they say you have to buy something doesn’t mean you have to buy it. Don’t let the consumerism brainwashing affect you and just say no...
Another recent win is resistance to self checkout, enough stood their ground and refused to use it so now they are removing them and putting checkers back to work. If you want to win this country back this is how it will be done.
Just say no with your dollars. :)
since the colder months are now upon us maybe those ev’s could be given to homeless camps as fire starters?
One can only ignore reality for so long. EV’s always were a bad solution to a non existing problem.
What sounds like good news might turn out to horrendous news for taxpayers. The unions and the global warming crowd will be loudly demanding more subsidies to keep the jobs and agenda going.
Ev’s are the Trabant of today
“What sounds like good news might turn out to horrendous news for taxpayers.”
Preventative maintenance. A little loss now or the end of our civilized standard of living later.
Anyone truly dedicated to the concept of ‘green energy’ would ride a horse. 😏
The fact that they were stupid enough to even add EVs to their product line is crazy. WE knew that EVs aren’t practical, logical, environmentally positive, or user friendly. How could major auto manufacturers NOT know?
Good for GM. Maybe they can donate the unsold inventory to the homeless.
“92,000 unsold EVs”
Park them in NOLA next to those unused FEMA housing units.
“Just because they say you have to buy something doesn’t mean you have to buy it.”
Much like ... Just because they say you have to be injected with poison doesn’t mean you have t to do it.
Maybe they can donate the unsold inventory to the homeless.
Good idea...when the initial charge is gone, they would make great tiny houses...
Oil prices have been falling the past three weeks. EV makers need high oil prices.
“Much like ... Just because they say you have to be injected with poison doesn’t mean you have t to do it.”
Absolutely!
Our son recently rented a Tesla for a long trip. According to our DIL, it really wasn’t much of a savings, about the same as fuel. So what’s the point? They really aren’t that attractive, either.
Houses hat self-immolate are not a good choice for drug addicts.
It is irrational for companies like GM and Ford to change much of their direction based on a government subsidy that can be withdrawn at any time.
A market created by government subsidies can die with the stroke of a pen.
As an aside, the subsidies in the U.S. started with the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008 which included tax credits for new qualified plug-in electric vehicles (see Internal Revenue Bulletin: 2009-48). And there are credits in place in countries around the world)
Something wonderful about mechanical things.
All these electric gimics on a car are a pain...rolling down a window by hand was such a big thing?? Unlocking a door with a key...same thing...
I used self check out once...but someone had to help me. Once was enough. I’d rather see some kid keep their job...
But...horses fart...and poop...OMG...we’re all gonna die...

They didn’t care. They were chasing a popular and soon to be mandated market trend.
