True. Stalin hated Mao. He would have preferred to have Chiang running China (and did support the KMT until he signed the non-aggression pact with Japan).
They all hate each other. They have to. Their way of doing socialism/communism has to be the superior way. They can get along to deal with a common enemy, but there’s no real love between any socialists in different countries.
