My wife and I lived right off corner of Sample and University when we were first married in the katr 90s. It was an awesome place for a young couple. Walk to lots of restaurants, shops etc. There was an amazing Greek diner just a few blocks away, and an Irish pub across from that.
We drove through the area a few years ago to check it out - yuck.

Aha...right near the Masjid where the iman was arrested for terrorism.
We neighbors tried to prevent its building, along with our beloved rep Joe Kaufman, and our congressman A.W. but they snuck it in. Grrrrr.
