“You and L Ron Hubbard could start a cool cult!”

I think you didn’t read well enough and are going off half cocked with that sarcasm. Is Christianity a cult to be made fun of? Tired’s view point is based in objective understanding of aspects of Christianity. We have discussed these relationships several times.

There is a lot of what “Retired” says that sounds plausible but can’t be fully evaluated based on scripture. We, like the Bereans only have scripture and the Holy spirit to guide us. Many Christians have encountered things that go Bump in the Night which then get chased off when the name of Christ, scripture, or spiritual songs are verbalized.

He blends concepts with eastern Mysticism and Christianity, trying to show where they harmonize the way Thomas Merton had tried to do. To be fair, Retired stays more on the Jesus as Christ in Flesh side of it..but he can indeed come across as cultish sounding. I said ‘sounding”. Perhaps as time progresses and the book of Daniel as well as other prophecies become more “unsealed”, the events of the era and the Spirit will unveil more truths that we would have had trouble digesting in times past; yet it will still be Scripture based revealing more about who Christ and the Father and the Spirit are and where the Spirit has been most active.

“Not by might or power, but by my Spirit says the Lord!”
