I suspect you’re right. Then the question becomes, cui bono (who benefits?) The only person I can think of right now is Ron DeSantis. I don’t know that his campaign is behind the spreading of this rumor but the rationale for them to do so is obvious - sow seeds of doubt before the Iowa caucus in order to pull some of Trump’s MAGA supporters back to him and overtake Haley for second place. And it’s a two-fer because if the rumor is believed, some of the never-Trump vote that’s switched from DeSantis to Haley in recent weeks would also likely switch back to DeSantis.
So you are anti Trump..

We need to prevent the kind of horror that would happen if Biden “resigned”. Nikki can NOT be Trump’s VP for that reason. she is deep state and being on the inside would make it easier for her to reverse everything. I hope Trump gets better staffing advice this time around.
