A massive magnitude-7.6 earthquake has struck Ishikawa Prefecture, in central Japan, along the Japan Sea coast.
A major tsunami warning has been issued for the prefecture.
Tsunami warnings were also issued for Niigata, Toyama, Yamagata, Fukui and Hyogo prefectures, also along the Japan Sea Coast.

After Fukushima, I hope everyone is safe.
I will be saying a prayer for those in harms way, and those already injured and dealing with the aftermath and aftershocks.
Tsunami warnings have been downgraded but there are reports of collapsed buildings and electrical outages.

I didn’t know Japan had a subduction zone on it’s western coast.
