Betcha anyone who”s ever had to replace their cordless drill battery cringe’s at the thought of replacing one for a dang car. Many times I’ve just thrown the whole shebang away and buy another drill kit on sale cheaper than the replacement battery.
Have a closet full of printers that just need new ink cartridges but a new printer with ink was cheaper.

Since the number of Teslas being sold has increased, from 367k in 2019 to 1,313k in 2022, the average age of used Teslas is increasing. I am no Tesla fan but the average price of used Teslas has to be looked at adjusting for the average age.

In other words if 2019 was the first model year (assumption just to make a point) then in 2020 all used Teslas were only 1 year old. Now obviously there are 5 year old Teslas on the used car market.
