it was a second car
a real 200 mile range
about $20k
insurance wasn’t 3x what my regular car was
I didn’t have to worry abound burning down my house
didn’t have to spend an extra $1-2 grand on a home charger
had some resale value
Owners of used Teslas will probably have to PAY someone to take it off their hands, after the batteries only hold a charge for 10 miles, or are a timebomb waiting for a weakened cell to short out, heat up, and set the whole thing on fire.
