RINOs abandoning ship hoping the real RATs take their seats. For a one or two seat retirement, I wouldn't be worried. Now at 20 GOP House retirements? Many here would be pleased in the long run if we thought it would help. But this increases, however slightly, the odds that the GOP will lose the House this November.

GOP set a record for 2018 with something like 39 not running for reelection. In 2022 aound 32 Dems passed on reelection.
Twenty GOP not running in ‘24 isn’t a big number historically.
