Question: Which Borders are More Important?

Question: Which Borders are More Important?

I know this is going to sound like a rhetorical question, but could someone tell me why suddenly borders of other countries are more important than ours?

This is a question being put out to not only the Real Americans out there but to all the blue and yellow flag waving warhawks who believe that we should empty the nation's treasury for a battle which is only going to escalate into something that no one wants.

All while being invaded via air, land and sea.

You see, I don't buy into the conventional wisdom that all of these “mostly young males” who are coming at us here simply to have a better life or to be future democrat voters. Heck, with the guidelines they have in place for elections, they could just use mail-in ballots from overseas and leave these folks where they are.

You see, I feel something even more sinister. What happens if, like the pallets of bricks that magically appeared during the “summer of love” riots, Suddenly trucks show up with munitions? After all, during previous administrations, various government alphabet agencies bought up enough  military hardware to stand up their own armies. Remember those? Where did all that equipment go?

And yes, I am aware that while all this is going on, there are bills being introduced in Congress that, if passed, would prevent Americans from having the means to even try to defend themselves.

Allow me to put on my tinfoil hat for a minute and ask a serious and sobering question. Are we being blackmailed? Is there something or someone threatening us with something much worse if we don't do their bidding? I mean this makes no logical sense whatsoever.

I spent last week fearful of something bad happening at the Super Bowl. You know how things tend to blow up when certain political parties find themselves in a pickle. Fortunately, nothing serious happened except that while everybody was watching we learned that apparently the Republican party doesn't want to secure the border at all.

If you recall, they were the primary opposition to the so-called border bill which was nothing more than a foreign aid and amnesty bill. It appeared the Republican opposition held strong until they took the border provision out of it. Then I got passed so apparently protecting this country first was the entire hangup to the opposition.

On February 8th I attended a small town meeting in no-where-New York City, New York, where a customs and border patrol official lectured us on the fact that we have young military aged men from over 20 countries who have been invading our shoreline on a nightly basis from Canada. It was a packed house. Most of us were forced to watch the meeting from the outside since there was an overflow crowd (in this small town). And although there were men willing to stand in the gap to help stop all this, all we were offered was a refrigerator magnet with a phone number; where if we see something call them. But the message was clear. Nobody in authority was going to do a darn thing about it (we will apprehend, and turn them over to the US CBP - sound familiar, Texas?).

So let me get this straight. We are trillions in debt and in between continuing budget  resolutions, we're going to just drop upwards of $100 billion for a failed state and probably the only western state that has a budget surplus. Not to mention saber rattling against the country who makes all of our stuff over one of their own islands, naval battles in the Red Sea and Persian gulf, and blowing up stuff god-only-knows wherever else on this planet.

Do you think maybe we're a little too over our heads in all this?

And so before I have to sit down at the table and figure out how to pay taxes to bankroll all of this stuff I think it's fair that somebody tell me why are we doing all this? And can somebody who is reading this article simply give me a straight answer? Or should I just send the you-know-whos a check for $0.02 and fill the memo field with a middle finger?

Because honestly right now I don't fear for my country. I frankly don't think we have one anymore.

An observation or question ….. without cheap labor the elites cannot destroy the middle class and one cannot crash the economy without cheap labor ?

Aid to Ukraine is actually quite small in comparison to other categories of Federal outlays. The third chart in this page tells the story. And they don’t even include all the welfare programs that our Federal government wastes money on. Ukraine aid hasn’t a prayer of “emptying the U.S. treasury”.

“I spent last week fearful of something bad happening at the Super Bowl.” Something bad did happen at the Super Bowl. They managed to ‘normalize’ the Black National Anthem, which is a successful effort to divide the US into racial groups and destroy the Unity of the United States.

The massive exodus w/ relative ease from Third World hellholes vividly exposes the hidden agenda of these ruffians. They would like us to believe they traveled thousands of miles, arriving at our borders well-fed, hydrated, clean and neat, fit-looking...........”just here for a better life.”

Reality check........the worse is yet to come for America. They are agents of foreign governments, here to execute self-serving political agendas of their homelands.

This is one massive voting bloc.

“I think it’s fair that somebody tell me why are we doing all this”

It is a question I hear few ask. It is scary to go there. It looks to me like we are being sold out deliberately.

Why? The goal, I fear, is a western world without borders and styled like China. Two classes, the powerful and the slaves of the state. The people most likely to resist this plan are people like us.... hard working, freedom loving Americans. Bankrupt us, and flood our land with foreigners who do not hold our same values.

Hope I am wrong, but this is how it looks to me.

I’ve been saying this for a while.

How come we have ‘Homeland Security’, Customs and BORDER PATROL, and a STANDING ARMY to defend our country, and all we seem to do is defend the borders of OTHER COUNTRIES and allow an invasion on ours?

Why is it ‘controversial’ to use our military to defend our own border?

How do we have the money to send 100’s of BILLIONS toward proxy wars while we drown in debt? ...yet ‘the wall’ is too expensive.

Where are the ‘journalists on the ground’ reporting on this ‘important’ war? ...so we can know why this is soooooooo important?

Why does FUTURE taxpayer money get spend without any transparency or accountability? This is OUR MONEY, not theirs.

Why is the border security a ‘negotiation’?? Anyone not using existing resources and allowing the invasion is a traitor, why are they so comfortable to do that?

It’s as though we’re all under some spell from endless gaslighting, we’ve all become ok with all this - numbed to the reality of the insanity.

I’ve never had such strong conviction that we need TERM LIMITS. The only way this all happens is corruption. Clear out the 3 letter agencies and rotate our representatives often. They all get rich, the very definition of corruption. They’re all compromised. The only way to combat this is TERM LIMITS.

GREAT post. Thanks jimjohn.

Taxation without representation. In a time of instant communication, isn’t it great how our “representatives” are in constant communication with their citizens?

President Trump communicates very often and very well. I know what his intentions are. Practically all of the 535, not so well. What do they “represent”?

Joe Biden has trouble communicating.

Representation without communication.

Great question...

A few here put other countries in front of our own country (USA).
Very disappointing.

I'm with you. These are the same thoughts that crowd my mind every day, and I know I am not alone. I was just on another thread, and I posted this:

I believe we have three major issues we must overcome, or we are finished as a country:

  1. The Fully Open Border

  2. The Runaway National Debt

  3. The Broken Electoral Process

I should have added one more:

4. The Broken Judicial System.

Granted, this one is a more insidious drip-drip-drip kind of thing where people don't fully realize the ramifications of a layered judicial system in which only a subset of people are required to observe the law and are punished severely for any transgression, and others get off scot-free, but once that is obvious to everyone who pays attention, it is just as damaging as the other three factors.

But this one definitely flies under the radar.

And, like you, I worry that it may already be too late.

The amount of debt is staggering, the number of people who don't see or believe in a government weaponized against its citizens, the criminals flooding across our border everyday, like these military age males from Syria-yes, Syria:

Or this man, an illegal who assaulted police and was let out on no bail, telling us just what he thinks of our cuckolded country:

We hear 11 million illegals, but I believe the number is North of 40 million, and they aren't here to be Americans as immigrants, legal or illegal may have been in the early 20th Century.

They are here for a different purpose. And it isn't to be Americans. It is to bring their s**t-hole country's broken attitudes and ideologies with them, and to conquer us.

And we are not only letting them do it, we are helping them.

So, yes. Like you, I am worried.

The only hope, is that we can buy some breathing room in the next four years with someone who is accurately characterized in this meme:

Considering the U.S. treasury is already in the negative, anything being sent to anywhere outside of the U.S. or to any non-citizen is just morally wrong.

“Not to mention saber rattling against the country who makes all of our stuff over one of their own islands....”

Then don’t mention it. And did you mention Israel as well?

There are foreign threats that affect us here, in addition to our own border.

Biden and his handlers and RINOs are royally screwing us on the border. Elect Trump.

That doesn’t mean we should collapse the entire foreign policy of the United States and the world.

Taiwan isn’t just some island. Israel isn’t just a bunch of Jews making falafel in the Middle East.

Maybe we should tank every single other thing we do, because we’re being screwed on the border.
That won’t change a single thing at the border and I wonder what you’ll cry about next.

Taiwan is of such strategic importance that it’s loss would pretty much doom Korea, Japan, Australia and shut us out of Asia.

You worry about the border but don’t want to help Israel wipe out Hamas? What do you think a fully terrorist Middle East sworn to destroy the Great Satan will do to us?

And hey, while you give up Asia and the Middle East, who needs Europe? That’s just pretty much the entire world.

And while you’re sitting at your table paying for all this stuff, what do you think your standard of living is going to be with Asia, Europe and the Middle East all controlled by adversaries?

But the border huh? Giving up everything else isn’t going to secure the border.

Elect Trump. And stop this ignorant ranting that we can or should withdraw from the entire world.

In my post above, we are indeed in an "existential" fight for the survival of this country, and the four things I listed above are those things that are going to destroy this nation, and it is going to happen quickly once it starts.

(NOTE: I use the scare quotes for the benefits of Leftists who throw that term "existential" around in the same way they throw around "racism". They have been doing it so long, it has no meaning for them. But the word still carries meaning, though it doesn't apply to anything THEY think it does. It DOES apply here.)

Ukraine or the doings of Russia have absolutely no bearing on this whatsoever. None.

In medicine, when there is trauma, one must triage a patient. Everyone knows that you must stop the bleeding before anything else can be done, or the patient may bleed out in a single minute.

If the patient bleeds out, nothing else matters or is significant. So you attack that problem first. Then you evaluate other things. You might be able to go a matter of minutes without oxygen before brain damage occurs, so oxygenation is next. And so on.

If we do not address the problems above, Russia taking over Ukraine has absolutely zero meaning for us as a nation, because not only will we not have the will or equipment to fight, we won't have the money either, because we won't have a nation.

No matter how large or small people think the issue in Ukraine is, we are going to bleed out or die due to a lack of oxygenation years or decades before Russia invading Ukraine is "our" problem, if it somehow did become a real issue in the future, if that ever happens.

Great post. I think socialism is the root of all this evil, it has a strong grip on the neck of our freedom based constitutional representative republic. Those who feel disassociated with what this country offers, the weak minded, the uninformed, the power hungry, the lazy, the evil…. Will gladly drink the kool-aid, become addicted to it, and wait anxiously by for the largesse and utopia that never comes - unless you’re in the ruling class. Jim Jones would be proud.

From the hard times make strong men line of thinking… maybe the irony will be that the suffering from being invaded (economic, violence, and death) our country will resolve to return to what it was designed to be. With young adult kids, I pray for peace and a soft landing into a better future, but it’s hard to ignore the damage the Left has done and what it will likely lead to. Hope I’m wrong.

"...Considering the U.S. treasury is already in the negative, anything being sent to anywhere outside of the U.S. or to any non-citizen is just morally wrong..."

It isn't that "our treasury is in the negative". It is that it is SO far into the negative that we are taking money from our great grandchildren for this bulls*t Ukraine issue.

How we can be so irresponsible is beyond me, even though we are watching it happen with our own eyes.

When we enter the phase where it doesn't cost $4 for a little non-essential snack like an ice cream sandwich, but on a weekly basis, begins to rise right before our eyes so that a wheelbarrow of dollars won't buy one, if they can be purchased at all, this all becomes irrelevant.

Sorry, rlmorel, but unless we in the USA are willing to revert back to a 19th century technology, engagement in world affairs, including Ukraine, is a stark, staring necessity. We depend, for example, for critical minerals such as cobalt and bauxite on mines that are not within our borders. Those are just a couple out of dozens. Never mind that we depend on China, India, and Denmark for critical medicines, and on Taiwan for computer chips. So while we certainly have social problems here at home, and (and are wasting far more $$ on them than we are spending on aid to Ukraine) we cannot become introverts if we want to survive. The world's two biggest tyrannies, China and Moscow, will bludgeon America to death, if the maniacal muslims don't get us first. (Remind me sometime to tell the story of how Islam created the Dark Ages in Europe by destroying trade with the eastern Mediterranean.)
