Why Are Billionaires Selling Off Stocks And Building Massive Survival Bunkers?
End of the American Dream ^ | 2/27/24 | Michael Snyder

If you want to determine what people believe, don’t listen to what they say. Rather, closely watch what they actually do. In recent days, the stock market has been hovering near all-time record highs and business leaders have been assuring us that good days are ahead. But meanwhile many of our most famous billionaires have been doing things that indicate that they are extremely concerned about what is coming in the future. For example, during the first two months of this year Jeff Bezos, Jamie Dimon and Mark Zuckerberg “have all sold big chunks of shares in their own companies”…

If these men believe that the U.S. economy is going to thrive and their companies will continue to grow, it would make sense to just sit back and let their portfolios increase in value.

But instead they have all determined that this is a perfect time to sell.

And I can definitely understand that. Over the past year, the stocks of all three companies have soared to unprecedented heights…

Meta stock has soared by 186% over the past year, JPMorgan is up nearly 30%, and Amazon has surged close to 90%. All three companies are trading close to record highs.

Private jets are built to (electrically) withstand lightning strikes, so I don’t think an EMP would be a problem for them.

And Gulfstream aircraft have the range to fly from California to New Zealand unrefueled.

They see the armies coming over our borders. They will hide in luxury while we starve and get killed.

I wonder if the need for those bunkers becomes real and the billionaires show up to enter them and the folks they must have had to hire to maintain them, or the folks that built them and know their secrets are now in charge and them them “Sorry we’re full. Find some place else to crash”.

“I remember bunkers being promoted in 1960 for nuclear war and in the 1980s some tea magnate built one deep in the Ozarks. He found water dripping to be a serious problem.

Many old farms around here have underground cellars for storage and tornadoes. “

My wife and I with our siblings grew up in the MidWest and Southwest. Tornado shelters were commonplace.

However, we had a few uncles on both sides, who converted their tornado shelters into bomb shelters. One of my wife’s uncles did this. He was one of 9 brothers, and the joke was, who got invited to spend eternity in his bomb shelter.

I’m the total opposite. I prefer heat to cold.

There is an interview with a guy who owns one of the companies that makes bunkers. He described being offered a lot of money to consult with a group of billionaires. They flew him in a private jet to an undisclosed location for the meeting. They wanted to know: How do we protect ourselves and our families from the guys we hire for our security? Bunker maker told them straight up: You spend just as much money building bunkers for your security members and their families as you do for yourself and your families, otherwise they are going to take yours. They did not want to hear that and sent him on his way.

I think most billionaires don't realize that when shit hits the fan the civilizational rules and support structures that made them rich and powerful probably will no longer be there for them. They will be operation in an entirely different environment and essentially starting over. They will have to negotiate, fight and die for their lives just like everybody else so they had better provision for strongly motivated protection. No matter how rich they are and stratospherically superior to the useless eaters now, the end of civilization will bring almost everyone down to the same level as new warlords rise up and take what they can from everyone else.

Can you be a tech titan when there's no longer any tech? No.

I’m not as terrible with humid heat as others. When I grew up, air conditioning was for rich folks. Back then, cars had black vinyl seats, too. Ouch! Open those windows before you get in! Put a towel on the seat if you have to leave right away!

Those were the days, weren’t they?

Scene: Hawaii post-apocalypse where starvation is rampant due to lack of shipping and arable land. At sunset on a beautiful beach backed by soaring, jungle covered cliffs a group of locals are huddled together planning the nights activities.

A giant of a man with obvious Samoan ancestry asks the leader: “What is for dinner?”

The leader answers: “Surf and turf, billionaire haole and sea turtle.”

7/21/2023 ABC 7 San Francisco: 'Mystery company' buys $800M worth of land near Travis AFB, raising concerns about national security

Excerpt:

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- The United States Air Force is investigating a company that's purchased $800 million of land near Travis Air Force Base, one of the most critical military bases in the U.S. But after eight months of investigation, government officials have been unable to identify who's behind it nor rule out any threat to national security.

Rep. Garamendi: "I have every reason in the world to believe that this land is adjacent to a critical national security platform Travis Air Force Base. Therefore -- an area where spy operations or any other nefarious activity could take place...that could detrimentally impact the ability of Travis Air Force Base to operate in a moment of national emergency."

"Now literally three sides of that base are totally controlled by the Flannery group," Rep. Garamendi said.

8/29/2023 ABC 7 San Francisco: CEO of firm that bought land near Travis AFB reveals to congressman why it was kept secret

Excerpt:

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The investment firm that purchased nearly $1 billion worth of Solano County farmland had its first meeting with Bay Area congressional leaders Tuesday night to discuss their vision for a 'utopian city.'

"They tell me that they want to build a city in a way that's environmentally appropriate or a way that will be energy efficient," said Rep. Thompson. "It'll be a green development, they say will not be in conflict with any of the military installation at Travis Air Force Base."

"Did you ask them why these plans were kept secret for so long?" the I-Team's Stephanie Sierra asked.

"I didn't have to," said Rep. Thompson. "They lead with that - they told me it was critical that they develop this shroud of secrecy in order to make the purchases that they wanted to make. And once they got the land, the critical mass of the land, then they were able to be more open than they had been."

So you think a news organization that is self-funded by people who voluntarily purchase your products is bad, but the corporate news media that gets 95% of its funding from...

...is good?

Thanks for proving you're a state-controlled fascist.
