At NewsBusters, we use the term "MSNBC Republican" to describe people who were once actual Republicans but can now be reliably counted on to criticize their supposed party and generally toe the liberal line o' the day.
Michael Steele, the former RNC chairman turned member of the disgraced Lincoln Project, is the epitome of the kind of Biden-voter Republican MSNBC uses. Even so, his performance as co-host on the network's show The Weekend on Saturday morning could have constituted a first: an 'MSNBC Republican' rapping the Dems . . . for not being partisan enough!

Michael Steele stopped being a republican years ago. He kept the title only for the purpose of being called republican in the liberal media.

And just think...this guy was the Chair of the RNC at one point. This would be similar to someone in the ideological vein as Trump being the Chair of the DNC. It just shows you how corrupt and soulless the Republican Party elite have become.

Republican elites prefer being in the minority where they can campaign on conservative principles, but never have to enact them. They had their chance holding the house, Senate and presidency in 2017 and worked against Trump and every way they could.
