For example, his show on Nov 5th, 2008 - the day after Mittens lost:
Rush held together whatever remained of the conservative movement post Reagan. Since his death, AM radio is a wasteland. Streaming has some life, but not much. His originality and insight are missing on the two weak sisters who replaced him.

I'm not seeing where this is wrong.
Excellent article. And 100% true.
Never forget the con of big Covid.
Per Rush, always follow the money.
Chicoms, Fauci and big pharma made big $.
America horribly suffered.
We won’t get fooled again! (At least I hope not)
“How did this nation ever get to the point where a man once considered nothing more than a tacky, loud, nouveau-riche liberal NYC real estate mogul”
Lost me here
Don’t essayists do the most minimal amount of esearch? They just hop into the mob start drinking then spew gossip
The Trumps are not nouveau riche
“nouveau-riche”
‘people who have recently acquired wealth’
Donald Trump’s grandfather, from a good family, started the family’s building business in Queens and Long Island (that the AG in NY is trying to destroy now for reasons of her demonic possession one assumes)
Trumps grandfather died and the wife, Trump’s grandmother, ran the business. Not likes a strung out single mother but while putting her family through good schools living in a nice home in a very good neighborhood
Her son, Trumps father, Fred, picked up and ran the company, putting Trump into NY Military Academy for high school where Trump learned the foundations of the U.S. military. By the way
Trumps father built the King Kullen supermarket chain on Long Island. He wasn’t a grocer he was a builder. Those supermarkets are still there
Trumps sister was a federal Judge
Trump joined his father in the business. Trump also went to Wharton school of finance that’s U Penn, it’s Ivy League- those who won’t do their research need to hear that.
My well to do aunt who was born in a nice neighborhood in Park Slope and died 102 years later in the same house she was born in said ‘the Trumps were such a good family’
That’s not nouveau riche
The only thing nouveau about this article is the writer who speaks without knowing
Miss him every day at noon. Dan Bongino is good, and Mark Levin very good. But Rush was the first and the best.
Trump’s greatest achievement as president isn’t actually what he achieved policy-wise (and they were some of the most incredible achievements ever); it was his mere presence as an oppositional force to the hypocrisy and corruption of the past eighty years that caused the masks and illusions of an America that no longer exists to drop
Mega dittos owed and mega dittos given.
AMEN
I miss El Rushbo every day
Still miss Rush.
Sorely missed. Rush went out on top.
This is patently false. The Stern Effect directly fueled Limbaugh's audience. The average Stern hater listened for two and a half hours a day. The average Stern fan listened for slightly more than half that.
Limbaugh's internal audience breakdowns were identical.
I miss Limbaugh, and I have stated that with more elan than this scribe ever dreamed of...this is a dumb stream-of-unconsciousness piece that the author would be well advised not to even attempt to defend here.
Can’t help but think of the fun Rush would have had over this latest stirred up fake outrage over Trump using the word “Bloodbath.” Rush would have a ball smacking down the looney left media, et al. So miss our dear friend.
