JUST IN: SCOTUS Denies Kari Lake and Mark Finchem’s Lawsuit to Ban Hackable Electronic Voting Machines Without Comment

The United States Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a lawsuit by former Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and former Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem to ban the use of hackable electronic voting machines.

Kari Lake is the Trump-Endorsed US Senate Candidate in Arizona and is on course to face Democrat Ruben Gallego in November.

The appeal by Lake and Finchem comes after the stolen 2022 election, where 60% of the voting machines were reportedly programmed to fail on election day, causing mass voter disenfranchisement and up to four-hour-long lines for Republican in-person voters. Kari Lake ran for governor and allegedly lost the race by less than one percent after this debacle, despite leading by double digits in polls leading up to election day.

The filing includes “new allegations,” some of which were previously mentioned in Kari Lake’s lawsuit to overturn the stolen election, including:

The fact that SCOTUS will not act on even OBVIOUS examples of fraud and disenfranchisement, tells me that the fat lady has stopped singing.

Strap in, people. We are to be ruled by a one-party system, with utterly no checks and balances.

You can expect to see hit-squads killing political opponents, Gulags, and organized mass-killings. I give it 5-10 years before these things are the norm.

Elections are run by the state. The Supreme Court is keeping it that way.

Yet somehow they saw fit to rule:

Moore v. Harper (2023): Issue: The case addressed the authority of state legislatures to set rules regarding federal elections.

Ruling: The Elections Clause in Article I of the Constitution does not grant exclusive and independent authority to state legislatures for federal election rules.

Allen v. Milligan (2023):Issue: Whether a district is equally open as required by Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Ruling: A district is not equally open when minority voters face bloc voting along racial lines, rendering their vote unequal to non-minority voters.

Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee (2021):

sue: Impact of neutral regulations on minority and non-minority groups with respect to voting rules.

Ruling: Disparities in impact do not necessarily mean a system is not equally open or that it denies equal voting opportunities.

Chiafalo v. Washington (2020): Issue: Enforcing an elector’s pledge to support their party’s nominee for President.

Ruling: A state may enforce such a pledge.

Rucho v. Common Cause (2019): Issue: Partisan gerrymandering claims.

Ruling: Partisan gerrymandering presents political questions beyond the reach of federal courts.

So, they are just fine with ruling on national elections.

Just not interested in stopping voter fraud, is all.

You are more optimistic than I.

You’re probably right.

SCOTUS is too busy with “real” emergencies, like deciding if people can sleep on the sidewalks...

Kari Lake is now in French army territory for the number of losses she has suffered.

Not like the French. We can’t spare this one. She Fights.

I am no lawyer—and don’t know the relevant Arizona statutes— but it seems to me that the selection of voting machines is at best a matter for the state legislature, if not a decision of the state election commission. I get that Arizona rigged the election in 2020. But to seek a court decision on the presumption that it might happen again in 2024 seems to me to have no legal basis, however likely.

“Smartmatic has everything to do with election fraud.”

Even when they don’t supply any of the equipment in question.

Kavanaugh, ACB and CJ Roberts can be trusted to protect the Deep State whenever they are ordered to do so.

""What a shame! It's apparent the Supreme Court doesn't want to touch anything pertaining to any federal election theft."

They did in 2000. Then Repukes went MIA on stamping out voter fraud. They acted like nothing out of the ordinary happened in Florida in 2000.

“Kari Lake is now in French army territory for the number of losses she has suffered.”

Troll. She may have lost, but the system is rigged against the truth, which you don’t care about. You’re under the delusion that elections throughout the country weren’t stolen because of corrupt legal system that won’t address voter fraud.

As one example you can see with your own eyes. Watch the video of the guy verifying signatures in AZ in under a second? The judge ruled against her even though it was physically impossible to verify the signatures in so little time. The judge said because the ballot flashed on the screen it met the legal minimum requirement. Anyone with an iota of common sense knew that these tens of thousands of ballots were not checked, they were approved without looking. For the 2020 election only around 3% mail-in ballots were signature throughout the country (mostly against the law).

So, technically she lost against a system that does not want her to win and sadly you’re happy (enough to make snide remarks) with this and the direction the country is going because of it. Disgusting.

They are asking SCOTUS to legislate from the Bench. With the Dobbs decision about abortion the majority of the court has rejected doing that. She should petition AZ Legislators and the US Congress to change the laws about electronic voting. YMMV. IMHO.

Have you not read how corrupt the AZ election officials are recently? AZ is a sh$tshow.

Under the constitution of the USA and AZ we all must petition our legislators and governer/president to change our laws. YMMV. IMHO.

So it would seem. But wait until a democrat complains and goes to the SCOTUS, bet they will take it then. As far as I am concerned, they are just as corrupt under Roberts as many of the lower courts. And, unlike so many say, it is not a conservative court. It has two solid conservatives, three activist democrats and four wishy washy justices who you never know where they will land.
