Interesting. Looking back, I do agree that the WAR ON SMOKING was a turning point (for the worse) regarding attacks on our personal freedoms.

If someone harasses a smoker, simply reply "Hitler was a non-smoker!" or if someone says "Smoking is bad for you", reply with "So is minding other people's business!"

I am rather surprised at the number of young people (late teens/20s) who smoke cigarettes. I would estimate 15 to 20% of them seem to be smokers.

Wasn't that huge [hugh! even] tobacco settlement in the mid 1990s supposed to provide funds to educate yutes of the evils of smoking?

I recall Keith Richards and Ron Wood smoking on stage at Madison Square Garden after being told that MSG was now a non-smoking venue. They were in the Stones. They didn't care.

More American smokers should've followed their lead in non-compliance.
