Florida GOP Rep. Bill Posey on Friday abruptly announced he will be retiring from Congress at the end of the year.
The 76-year-old was first elected to represent Florida’s 8th Congressional District in 2008.

According to Axios, more Republican lawmakers are expected to announce retirements in the next few weeks.
More than 23 House Republicans have announced they will not seek reelection in 2024.
Last month RINO Representative Mike Gallagher (WI) announced he would exit the House in mid-April.
Following the resignation of Mike Gallagher, Kevin McCarthy, Bill Johnson, Ken Buck and the ousting of George Santos, the Republicans are left with a one-seat majority!

Ultimately if we want to defeat the military industrial complex and the CIA that is causing wars all over the globe which the US then funds both sides for just to make sure there is always war.... we have to defeat the Deep State. To do that we have to get non-dems in control of the DOJ and the House and Senate committees.
Sometimes you have to step backwards in order to boot out the ones you need to get in front of. We need to play smart, and for keeps. If we’re against war, we have to defeat the systems that create war.

………I don’t know if it’s related to personal reasons, or health etc
….but even if I found out I would respect his privacy

He ran the race , kept the faith…..pressed on to the goal

This is why Trump needs to create a new m a g a party. The current GOP party contains only 35 million members. Trump got 80 million votes. Most of those would join, but even if only half did it would be bigger than the GOP party.
It would not be a third party spoiler it would be the biggest party cuz even some Democrats disillusioned with how insane their party has become would join
I would prefer it to be called “The MAGA Nationalist Party”.

This place is a hoot. 95% of freepers would support congressional term limits. But when members of congress DO decided its time to move on, then its a Commie plot!!!!
It’s a whole other kettle of fish to announce it at a time that requires the Party to scramble to find another candidate.
