A stunning new poll shows that more than 100 million Americans, 41% of the nation's population, believe there could be another civil war in America within the next five years.
The Rasmussen Reports document on that foreboding expectation was released on Thursday.
It said "41% of Likely U.S. voters believe the United States is likely to experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years, including 16% who consider such a scenario Very Likely."

There will most definitely be a civil war when the Gen Z nutjobs swarming college campuses get elected to power, and Gen X’ers with guns decide they will go their own way.

Well, if it were to happen, Conservatives vs. Liberals it would be quite different than during the 1861 war. I can’t really wrap my head around the devastation that could occur. Image husbands and wives, sons, daughters relatives, friends, neighbors all trying to kill or imprison each other. Big difference than one part of the country against another. Yes, there were some brothers and cousins on each side during the Civil war, but nothing like what could happen. I just don’t see it happening, although something has to give, the country has gone to hell during pres. bribeme.
If our next civil war is ideological (political, religious, philosophical), it will more closely resemble the English, Spanish, and Russian civil wars. All very bloody affairs.
Although I don’t want one it’s become necessary. Who will it be against? I think it’ll be the people against the corrupt government. Once the loony left realizes how the pols screwed the pooch with their votes time after time it’ll be on. Either way there are many already that see what has happened. The lefties are so blind to this they need cataract surgery to be able to see again. It’ll happen though. It’ll be too late to save this country, it already is too late. We will break off into separate states like Eastern Europe.
When it happens I’ll be ready.
I expect the ETs to arrive and appear in such a way that all this stupid human bullshit we engage in will seem superfluous.

I wish FR had a better search. I’ve been saying for at least 10 years I hope we get out of this without a shooting civil war. Still do.
As soon as the right can pry its collective tail from the leftist propaganda posing as entertainment and stop funding China's buildup with our consumer dollars. IOW, never.
The worst part is, we don't have to fight on our pretend battlefields. We can fight with our consumer dollars. I know we can, because I cut the cord, and I don't miss it at all, and I haven't bought anything from a company that used their technology against us since the early 2000s.
But we won't even do that. "Later, there's a game on." How are we going to fight a civil war when we can't even live without the entertainment we're paying the left to provide for us, or find alternatives to the companies that are actively working against us?
We're all talk and memes, and the left knows it.

If the election is stolen again this fall there will be a civil war of sorts to start things, more of a cold war if you will and not unlike when the USSR fell apart.
States will rise up FINALLY and slap down the feds as the Constitution provides. Many people will drift to family, friends as predictable as well clearly red or blue states that will shrink or grow as the public decides where they want to live. The GOPe/uniparty will finally be destroyed (see federal debt) and a new MAGA party will evolve quickly while the Communist party limps along for decades.
