Sad to agree, a Second Civil war would be a modern horror show. To be avoided at all cost. In many ways for like the French Revolution than the little dust up in 1861.

My take. WW III is a better chance of happening than a new Civil War. BUT... If the World War comes up as a defeat for the USA (War might only be for a year or two) with a UN settlement and no nukes. Then, the nation will be shattered and the people want scapegoats for the defeat—That’s when the civil war comes. The Axis would love to see America cut into several nation states to never dominate the Earth.

World War will trigger Civil War here. This isn’t 1941.

Maybe but I wouldn’t count on it
This is not your father’s army, anymore.
The generation that’s filled it’s ranks have been indoctrinated to hate this country and all the generations before it as evil as the Nazis and won’t think twice about pulling the trigger on whoever commands them to point at.
Add in the foreigners that’s been allowed in this country the twenty years. Why do you think they are vastly comprised of military age men?
Certainly not to pick fruit!

They will be enlisted by the promise of citizenship to fill out it’s ranks of those who refuse gun down their fellow citizens.
Keep your powder dry and in great supply!

"Most of the military will be on our side."

Maybe 20 years ago, but since Obama, it is not a foregone conclusion most military and LEAs would side with the good guys.

As to how it would go down, the Feds control the means of communication and can choke hold transportation hubs. Resistance would quickly fade as store shelves become empty. Some balkanized pockets of resistance and militias might carry on but represent no threat to the deep state.

Just hoping it doesn’t have that maudlin violin music like in the Ken Burns version.

I’m thinking mostly gorilla warfare..with the “US government” dropping a bomb in hot spots and/or DC ..if they are losing.

How will it be decided on who gets the money from Social Security?

Will one side be without funds for retired folks?

Why would anyone fight a civil war when both sides have each other and want out?

There might be disagreement about who gets the picnic basket or the dog - but this is a divorce Liberals AND Conservatives want. Both sides can have everything on their list

White liberal 'elites' can have 30 judges on the Supreme Court, they can ban all guns, defund the police, have 200 genders, 40 million more illegals for their servant class, and jail people who use the wrong pronouns. The Hamas wing of the democrat party can 'have their way' with Jews and the press will ONLY kiss the butts of approved democrats. In short atrocities will be kept hidden from their useful idiots. Kind of like now with the current biased press..

WE can have secure borders, freedom of speech, restriction on pornography in children's schools, protect all our citizens not just the 'politically correct' citizens, 9 Supreme Court Justices and the same Constitution we have now with the same Bill of Rights - the first and the second included... etc etc.

This can be a win for everyone. Why fight when both sides want out?

Expect a large amount of failures because of poor self-conduct.

“Blue urban areas are basically islands”
_______________________

These blue areas will marshal their male ovulation into armies to go seize water and electrical production sites as well as transport hubs to ensure their own supply as well as deny them to opposing forces
The coast cities(blue) will switch to foreign supplies of food, energy and weapons from you-know-who and will merciless crush any red states.
Who will aid red states? Yeah, think about that.
Only hope is to seize military instillations and their vast military supplies but even that won’t last long as ammo is used up and industrial production will be nil The suburbs will quickly copulate as they start dying of starvation, dehydration, disease.
The last vestiges of the Republic will die a lonely and miserable death.

The cities against the suburbs

Pretty much.

With the rural backing the suburbs as long as they keep their noses out of our business henceforth.

With most of the adult male population being woefully out of shape if not morbidly obese, there won’t be many combatants to fill the streets.
I see these “militia” types and they’re laughable when the shooting starts. Most will die of heart attacks and not bullets.
This nation ain’t 1941!

Gorilla warfare?

Is that ‘The View’ attacking America?

America attacking ‘The View’?

Maybe it’s a Minnesota Twins MLB pitcher, long forgotten?

And by Pearl Harbor, we’d already been ramping up for war for almost two years. Conscription was already in place, and our factories had been cranking out tanks, ships and planes for Britain and the Soviet Union.

Because both sides do not want out.

One side wants out and the other side wants to rule things.
