Calm down -- 102 is bad but not deadly.
Is getting to a doctor not an option?

Go to the doctor, 102 isn't life threatening

102 is nothing to get all worked up about. Call your pediatrician. They'll probably just tell you to treat with tylenol or motrin or something.

I am going to hospital. This is serious.

Force fluids, keep her bundled (some say not to, but it helped me to do so in the past) and get her to the pediatrician as soon as you can.

102 is not bad. Give her some children's tylenol and put a cold compress on her head.

How old is she?
Don't panic yet. No need. If you panic, who will take care of your daughter?
I have a son who had really high fevers when he was younger. He is 20 now.
Don't panic.

102? Been there more than once. She'll be fine

Calm down 102 is not life threatening. How old is your daughter? If she is old enough to take tylenol give her some if not give her children's tylenol (fever reducer). It will bring down the fever. Just keep us updated. If you are still too nervous call your doctor. But please try to stay calm. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!!!

ummm... Relax. Take her to an urgent care, not a hospital. The doctor will most likely prescribe Motrin and potentially an antibiotic depending on the cause of the fever.
Any other symptoms to go along with the fever?

If you can't get her to a doctor give her children's tylenol or motrin and a cool bath.

Is she totally lethargic?
Are her eyes rolling back in her head?
If that is the case, take her to the hospital immediately. If not, calm down.

102 is nothing. .....kids get high temps quite often. And I've had a few 104 fevers as an adult from flus. So just give her some aspirin and fluids and try to relax.

Yes, please remain calm. Both my children had fevers of 104 at one point. On one occasion, our doctor recommended that I bathe her with alcohol dabbed cotton balls. That brought the fever down in less than an hour.

Yes, please calm down. 102 is QUITE common, but certainly needs to be addressed. Kids are more resilient with high temps, and 102 is still below the danger level for adults, so just get some tyleno or motrin in her, and it may should come down.
(I myself had a 107 a couple a years ago, wow such fun!)
