I'm gonna put this out there and see what you folks thought about last night.
I for one am so mad at Fox News that I may never watch them again. The refused to call states that were going for Bush earlier in the evening, such as Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, and those that went later in the evening, such Iowa, New Mexico and Nevada.
I've heard all the hub bub about not wanting to appear partisan. But to me that's a load of hooey! There were numerous people on the threads last night who were downright pissed at Fox News for not having the backbone to call races when it was apparent who the winner was going to be.
What do you folks think?
They were being more careful, thats all.
I think you should stop posting worthless vanities. You have nothing to say.
They've already stated they were intially hesitant to make calls due to exit polling data. Once they determined the exit polls were way off, they started calling the states differently.
I think the night is over and I'm tired.
I agree that the fox coverage was terrible.
I think you need to catch up on your sleep.
They called Ohio first. They called Alaska, and declared Bush the winner first.
Now, put on your jammies and off to beddy-bye you go.
I think they were all mesmerized by the exit polls. It took 'em hours to wake up!
The exit polls REALLY got to them. I was ready to start a suicide watch for Brit.
They report, we decide.
They ALL did it.
FOX anc NBC/MSNBC called Ohio but neither would call Nevada to give Bush the win.
CNN and CBS called Nevada but neither would call Ohio to give Bush the win.
I wasn't happy with Fox News either...but not to the point where I won't watch it again. I can't put my self thru watching the other crap stations!
I am starting to lose faith in Fox News. They are a lot better than the other news programs, but they have slid from the right a lot. I don't like some of the new people on the show, etc.

I was elated that they were being very conservative in choosing states. A big improvement from 2000, that's for sure. And I have to admit, it was funny watching Juan complain and Michael Barone try to stay awake.
There was a thread like this earlier today and it lasted about 25 posts before being zapped.
Agreed. I think they were trying to butter both sides of their toast...in case Kerry was elected....and it turns out Kerry was the toast.
The others were inane blather.
