Hello my fellow FReepers. I am posting this message to let you all know that I REALLY need some new friends. I live in Tempe, AZ. I'm in my early 30's and tonight I was sitting here wondering what to do. So, I decided to post to see if I could find someone to talk to who lives in the valley here. I am a single male, going to school and I feel like i'm going F'ing crazy. I work 4-5 days a week. Are there any single women out there??? I know this isn't a dating service but who better to spend some time with than a fellow FReeper??? I've been posting here for a little while so I feel I have some privileges to post this. Thanks. ss

Let me just say, from a female point of view: if she's not interested in you, it sounds like you came on way too hard. Going overboard can make a girl, espcially a nice, moral, maybe shy girl, back off. It lights off our "obsessed stalker serial killer Daddy's gonna need a rifle" alarms.
Good luck, though.

I spent time in Seattle. The ladies there have big ankles. Now I'll hear it from Sandy and everone else.

Well...I feel your pain. I'm a 28 year old, never married conservative Catholic girl. I'd love to meet a nice conservative Catholic guy...but connecting is tough these days. I think FR has a lot of potential, though! I know of a few marriages resulting from folks meeting here!
But not having many friends in "real life" (what is this "real", hmmm?) is kind of a bummer. And to a great extent, that's my life.

HairoftheDog and ecurbh met on FR. They got married last summer and did a webcast for their friends, like me, who couldn't be there.

Heh...and we did a live thread sort of commentary during the wedding, too - those of us who couldn't be there, that is. It was pretty neat!

"Freep needs a singles thread for people that actually want a conservative mate." I agree. I've always thought there should be a thread for single FReepers...of all ages. There's one for about everything else.

Early 30's, huh? Still time before you'll need to get a dog. Have faith.

Early 30's going to school? My best advice is get a job (finally) make some money so you have something to offer a woman. And don't use FreeRepublic as a dating service.

My husband suggests you join the Marine Corps and go to Flight School. You'll meet TONS of chicks... whether you want to or not.
