Current thinking is that the Hyksos were from the northern Agean, which would make them proto-Greeks.

It has been claimed (for years, really) that at least some of the Sea Peoples (who are much later in Egyptian history) came from the Greek islands, the mainland, and from Anatolia. That's not my view, but it is very common. I've never heard any such origin offered for the Hyksos.
