Every day until this week, I've been previewing each D-1 : Bowl Subdivision Conference, and today we're previewing the Pac-10. But fasten your seat belts, because Monday, the SEC gets it's turn.

If USC wins it all, they will have earned it. Their home schedule looks fairly easy. Every team that could give them a good fight is on their road schedule.

Coach on the Hot Seat Bill Doba, Washington State – Easily the league’s most star-crossed program, Washington State has been on the verge of being a player over the last three years, but something always seems to go wrong. A fourth straight season

It's too bad. I always thought Doba was a good guy. He just hasn't had much success.

This Trojan team will roll its way to its second unquestioned national title under Pete Carroll (sorry 2003 fans, it’s a BCS world and we’re all living in it) with its best D of the current era. Enjoy it now because Carroll will finally get the offer he can’t refuse from some NFL team ready to give up control. Consider this a lead-pipe lock if the NCAA starts dropping some hamm

You know, usually the pundits wait until the season is a least half over before they start predicting THIS will FINALLY be the year Carroll goes pro. Maybe they figure if they start pushing a little early they could finally convince him to leave.

UCLA is remembered for choking late against Notre Dame and being the one team Florida State was able to run over.

Brings a tear to the eye...Ah, memories!

My prediction. USC vs Michigan in the BCS Championship Game.

I just think the SEC is going to be too brutal this year for any SEC team to emerge unscathed.
