Supposedly, ESA is looking into how Venus could give hints to how Earth could become if global warming goes haywire (albeit, this would be a very tiny part of their mission). Since Venus is only a tad bit smaller than Earth, and is commonly referred to as Earth's twin.
Climate change is such a big issue over there.

Supposedly, ESA is looking into how Venus could give hints to how Earth could become if global warming goes haywire (albeit, this would be a very tiny part of their mission). Since Venus is only a tad bit smaller than Earth, and is commonly referred to as Earth's twin. Green house effect cannot be the explanation for Venus' hot temperature... it is exothermic... giving off more heat that it receives from the Sun. Either there is another source of energy or the heat is a remnant of an even hotter past.
