1) The earth, like all of the planets, is a charged body.

2) The Sun has an electric field, and it interacts electrically with the planets.

3) The Sun is not powered by some mysterious, internal “nuclear furnace”, but rather externally by electric currents flowing along the arms of the Milky Way.

The net charge on each planet, and the sun, is zero.
The electric field is neutral, but the magnetic field crosses the entire solar system. Charged particles move along magnetic flux lines, some are positive and some are negative and they sum to zero.
What powers the sun is still assumed to be nuclear fusion which may be so but may not be the whole explanation, and what forms the various planetary magnetic fields is an assumed dynamo effect from the core, but that does not hold up.

"Sum up to zero..." or so the astronomers claim... but they have no proof.

"Charged particles move along magnetic flux lines..." Are you absolutely certain of that? Or are the charges separated into charge separated double layers... as we see can form in all plasmas we work with on Earth and that are scalable? Perhaps the magnetic flux lines are there because there are charged particles moving?

What creates your magnetic flux lines? Are they just "there" or are they the artifacts of moving electrons... as are all magnetic fields?

"What powers the sun is still assumed to be nuclear fusion ... " A fusion powered sun does not explain how you get from a 6000º surface to a multimillion degree upper atmosphere by "convection".

"...but that does not hold up..." That's the problem.
