My daughter is studying each continent for a project this summer. We are wrapping it up with Africa. Egypt is the last country we're doing in depth study. Egyptian history is fascinating.
Interestingly, when a “mummy” has the left hand across the chest - it typically indicates a female of royal blood. When a male “mummy” is discovered and has his hands criss crossing the chest it is most likely a Pharaoh.
As you may already know, I think people who study mummies aren’t wra-, well, never mind... ;’)
