Sissy Sun ping.
So according to this, global warming would be a good thing for those of us in the SE USA.
Well, I do like snow in the winter.
So tell me, then, how did global temps drop .7 C over the last year in the face of all that human-caused global warming?
I shudda stayed in school and been a climatologist. Talk about money for nothing...
The 1500 year cycle has empirical support from evidence gathered worldwide, and provides a best fit explanation for climate changes since the last Ice Age. The data do not require the use of "computer models" as the facts speak for themselves, and are not enhanced by the addition of an "anthropogenic" factor.
PAGING AL GORE!
Caused by anthropogenic carbon emissions no doubt.

“The climate record suggests that North America could face a major drought event again in 500 to 1,000 years, though Springer said that manmade global warming could offset the cycle.”
Well ... they managed to not mention the failing consensus until late in the piece.
“The climate record suggests that North America could face a major drought event again in 500 to 1,000 years”
Warn me about it in 425 years.
Seriously, this evidence - the decrease in solar activity causing cold periods and droughts could be interpreted to mean the reverse occurs. INCREASED solar activity causes warm trends. The cold cycle ended at least as long ago as 1600. One of the reasons the settlers at Roanoke had problems getting food from local indians was a great drought that had negatively impacted their corn crops. Lookig at the 1500 year cycle, we are probably begining the opposite of a cold dry climate.
