I saw we hit a record low of 55 at KCI! It is just wonderful; I’ve opened all the windows and am staining the newreplacementwindows that we’ve been unable to finish due to first, the rain, and then, the heat.

The animals are enjoying the 70 degree temperature in the house.

Ugh... we set a record in Austin too, hottest 30 days in a row, ever. Only one day out of the last 30 has the temp not gone above 100°F. Was 105°F yesterday, tying the record high. Probably will again today.

Yep. Looking for a “cool” weekend. I’ve got stepping stones to install, lawns to mow, and cover crops to sow. I finally got the garlic and shallots all dug up.

Same here. I'm more shaken by this event, but I hope it can be repaired promptly. Oscar Mayer Wienermobile loses control, crashes into Racine home.

The Wienermobile is number three on my automotive wish list. Number one is the Dillon Aerospace GMC with the minigun.

Number Two is the Corvette ZR1.

And that's even my favorite color.

But legality, cost, and availability are curves that all have to cross at some point. So I'm driving Number 36 on my list, my GMC Envoy. (I did go wild and crazy and put genuine sheepskin covers on the front seats).
