It would be more fun to be an Eloi. You get to sit around and have fun all day, orgies, and good food that is set out for you to eat whenever you want it. It isn't until the air raid siren sounds that life becomes a bummer. And if the earlier movie version is correct everyone has 60’s hair and wears Togas.
