Exactly. But why mess up a perfectly good tourist trap with a boring scientific explanation? Everybody knows ET’s are fascinated by anal probes (a pipe of sorts), cattle mutilations and other strange pursuits that bring them here from across the galaxy. Why not leave some mysterious “pipes” in the ground? It makes perfect sense...doesn’t it?
