a recent documentary on the Discovery Channel laid bare the untold story of the secretive religion at the heart of fascist Germany

Be advised that the Discovery Channel, like the "History" Channel, cannot be considered a credible source. They both are more than willing to parlay fiction into ratings.

That having been said, it has been public knowledge since the late 1930's that the Nazi party sought to elevate Hitler to divine levels. There was a project for example to re-write the Bible to conform to Hitler's life and point to him as the Messiah of Biblical prophecy. That it may have had Satanic coloring should be no great surprise.

Amen to that. You watch any of History's "Armageddon Week" specials last week? Just wow. You have to watch two hours in hopes of catching a few accurate morsels. I guess my "favorite" segment--I don't remember which show it was on--was when they promulgated the notion that the third horse of the apocalypse (the black horse with the scales) represents famine, which will be caused by global warming, so if we're smart and work really hard to avert global warming, we can stop that nasty old black horse from taking his ride. I kid you not.

I always consider the political correctness of both channels whenever I’m watching a program.
