Nettles

There are few plants that I personally react to. Heck, when I was a kid, we used to practically roll around in the poison ivy. But this one - this one is from Hades, as far as I'm concerned! But it grows widely, (esp along my back fence), and is considered edible, you just have to cook it long enough to take the sting out.

Speaking of poison ivy. I could do the same when I was a kid, but I learned the hard way that I have changed with age!

One only pulls stinging nettles out of the garden once. Then you go for the heavy gloves the next time you find it..

Nettles is great as a tea and probably best cure for enlarged prostate and urinary problems.
Dry it up to store and make a tea.
We also used to chop it up fresh and used as a food additive for pigs, geese, chicken.
