This can’t be true. The earth is only 10,000 years old. Dinasours were alive when Adam & Eve rode them out of the Garden of Eden. And, Raquel Welsh fought one while wearing a fur bikini - I’ve seen the video. These scientist are nuts.

Here is all the evidence one needs to know that man and donosaur roamed the earth at the same time.

Ah, I remember the good old days when the mere mention of dinosaurs would result in the almost immediate posting of a picture of Helen Thomas....

Volcanic eruption or celestial impact! What’s the difference we can avoid either one by switching to solar or wind power!

If a 112-mile crater didn’t lead to any extinctions AT ALL, not just dinosaurs (as this nutjob claims at the end of the article), then my name is Al Gore.
Maybe it didn’t kill the dinosaurs due to when it fell (if in fact it didn’t hit at 65 million years, which frankly is in doubt because of the statement saying it wouldn’t have killed any animal off), but something went extinct because of it.
This crater is huge! I have never heard anyone claim before a crater this size would not result in extinctions because frankly, that is a preposterous claim. The rock that hit was massive.

What? You mean all the theses and fellowships and studies done about all this are now worth dog poop? I’d hate to be in a field that you do your life’s work in, and put forth all these theories and hypotheses, and then go about defending them staunchly against anyone who says different, and then find out later it was all wrong.

Yes. Think of the poor saps who spent graduate school years becoming expert in Australopithecus africanus. Not much future in that nowadays!

What everybody should take away from this is that those things that are claimed to be infallible scientific “fact” aren’t always so and that the scientific community is not without its own form of orthodoxy. Those who use the accepted scientific “fact” of the current day to ridicule those who question it just might find themselves the biggest suckers of all.
