If a 112-mile crater didn’t lead to any extinctions AT ALL, not just dinosaurs (as this nutjob claims at the end of the article), then my name is Al Gore.

Maybe it didn’t kill the dinosaurs due to when it fell (if in fact it didn’t hit at 65 million years, which frankly is in doubt because of the statement saying it wouldn’t have killed any animal off), but something went extinct because of it.

This crater is huge! I have never heard anyone claim before a crater this size would not result in extinctions because frankly, that is a preposterous claim. The rock that hit was massive.

Something did go extinct, the asteroid predictors who were wrong.

I don’t think the report is saying that there were no mass deaths, just not a mass extinction of a entire species.
