Well since the last sun spot was a solar cycle 23, my guess it will stay asleep, according to an article at www.icecap.us , the sun is the dimmest in over 100 years and spot activity equals that of 1913. This “may” be another Dalton Minimum. (I hope actually, to shut up the global warmers)

Every time there is a short lived protospot from cycle 23 they go crazy over at spaceweather. Here is a picture from today at spaceweather.com:

Yeh, it’s been two years on the peonies I transplanted into Mom’s garden and finally they’re showing signs of blooming. I had to sacrifice her neighbor’s kick-dog by the light of a new moon to make it happen. Well, that’s what I told them, anyway.

Could be a Clintonista - the site is archived back to 2001.

They are the same ants that herd the aphids onto rose bushes, small black ones.

So if I kill all those little black ants, my peonies won't bloom? (Not that I've had any luck reducing their population.)

I conflicted on this. Secretely I wish we would have a 4-8 year micro ice age; just long enough to shake the kyoto agw algore bs. Then warming would be okay without the hysteria.

No but don’t tell anyone and the ants eat the other pests...
