Probably would not hurt you any, but the noise would be enough to momentarily lose bodily function. Never having been struck by lightning I do not know what that would sound like. But I am guessing it would be unpleasant, and down right scary.
It is a great once in a lifetime picture.

Buddy and I had lighting strike the ground less than 10 feet from us. “Unpleasant” is an understatement. I’m fairly certain we broke most duck and cover speed records.
