Looks about right to me. I don't know why they compared to Mann2008 North Hemisphere, and that really makes it tougher to see their data, which is all the other colors. (I was surprised to see Mann2008 rediscovered the Little Ice Age)
Important factors to me:
1. Medieval warm period confirmed in another study, and this really puts the nail in the coffin in the stupid argument that was not a world-wide event but only occurred in Europe.
2. Definitely shows that we have been warming slowly and inexorably since the Little Ice Age, and that continues to today. CO2 was not the cause of the warming since then, and is not the cause of the warming now.
3. They have a lot more scatter in their data than I would have expected. Instead of Mann2008, I would rather have seen a 1-sigma or 2-sigma curve of their data.
The graph covers a relatively short time period, but...if the Little Ice Age is anomalous then we may now be in a period of normal temperature. Normal until it’s not, that is.
