Most of the carbon dioxide emitted by human activity does not remain in the atmosphere, but is instead absorbed by the oceans and terrestrial ecosystems. In fact, only about 45 percent of emitted carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere.

Doesn't matter -- the global warming demagoguery is entirely political in origin, and is entirely sustained by politics. When confronted by a failure of temps to rise year after year, the liars claimed that the heat was being stored at depth in the oceans (the oceans get colder and denser with depth); when confronted by the facts (after some expensive studies), the liars turned some other way and ignored the failure of their phony model, hiding behind personal attacks and appealing to authority -- which is what "peer-reviewed studies" amounts to when used by them (by ANY of them). In the conclusion of his study, Knorr starts a paragraph with:

"Given the importance of the AF for the degree of future climate change.."

This establishes him as yet another AGW comprachico.(Ayn Rand used this term to describe similar creatures; she was a student of Spanish). It is not surprising that his work leads to yet another set of "hockey stick" graphs depicting the evil predations of modern man on the pristine earth.

The study pretends that there exists an accurate measure of anthropogenic CO2 emissions. The study also pretends that CO2 concentrations suddenly started increasing (hockey stick fashion) around 1950. The study further tries to pretend that anthropogenic CO2 emissions have continued to increase. It has been pointed out that the recent worldwide economic downturn caused a decrease in anthropogenic CO2 emissions; this (worldwide economic downturn) is, after all, what the warmists have been agitating for via cap and tax. The fact that atmospheric CO2 has continued to increase despite the economic downturn means that the anthropogenic contribution is being dwarfed by natural processes (and "cap and tax" would not stop the increase in atmospheric CO2 concentrations).

The fact that the temperature has fallen for about 10 years despite increasing atmospheric CO2 demolishes the AGW “theory”.
