I grew up in MN and it was common to see them.......I have not lived in MN for 30 years and have not seen one since.....I miss them.....
grew up in NYS...just over the PA border...once many years ago ...40 or so....we did see the borealis.....awesome....of course, being a kid, I thought these things came along a lot....of course,haven’t seen one since..
