An easy way to handle Tor on the go is to get an ironkey. It is a USB stick with a Tor network built in and a secure firefox. Plug in, browse securely, remove stick and they have no trace of you ever being there.
I'd go one further and say that with all the attention being given to the large number of new IRS agents and the new weaponry they are being equipped with, if I were on a jury, I'd have a hard time convicting someone for doing whatever they deem necessary for their own self defense.
