Things will get back to normal faster than you think. There are plenty of Americans who know exactly what is happening to you even if they are not there.
These things remind us that it is always local first - that is all that matters because the rest of the country has no idea what you are dealing with and they don’t really care. It is like the North Easterners damning Arizona -a border state - for wanting to enforce legal immigration laws. You need the people around you; you need the leaders you elected to be with it and on top of the problems you are facing and get things in order w/o excuse and fast.
