Sorry, I don’t have control over the sun’s thermostat. You have to work with Algore and the UN on your idea of selling water to save the planet.

David Viner, the senior research scientist at the University of East Anglia's climatic research unit, said the research showed that the sun did have an effect on global warming.

According to the East Anglia CRU's master statistician Ian (Fudge Factor) Harris, "Changes in solar intensity have and do not have an effect on warming, except when this effect is or is not measurable, depending on grants received or not received for next year's CRU funding. And no, you cannot see our raw data which we might or might not have lost, and if you complain about that we'll make sure you are never published in any peer-reviewed scientific journal."

Maybe you could get that kid who embarrassed ACORN several times, and make a movie about “Friends of Government” titled: Pay Up or Else

I am still surprised they got away with the con this long.

Then why has the Earth’s thermosphere dropped in size on an unprecedented level?

Unprecedented in what time frame?

There’s no way that the SUN could be the cause of global warming. Everybody knows that it only shines during the daytime and then goes away at night.

How could any dufuss believe that something that’s only shining half the day make any difference on the climate or atmosphere. Don’t these guys go to high class skools to learn about daytime and nighttime? Sheesh, ya think they’d pick up on something that simple.

The planet is not warming. We have been cooling for 6 years. Because Solar Activity has been weak. Brightness means visible light and we know that visible light varies in only a very small percentage over the solar cycle. It is the infrared, ultraviolet, CME's and solar wind that change significantly over the solar cycle. These clowns got just about everything wrong.

Well, well, IF the sun is causing warming, capitalists, especially American capitalists, must have done something racissst to ‘make’ the sun behave that way! Or Bush did it.

Thanks SaraJohnson.

The Earth's sole source of heat makes the planet warmer or cooler? Gee, we never thought of that.

Actually, the sun’s activity has been lower for the last 8 years or so, so there has been cooling, instead of warming. It will get hotter, though it may be a few years, yet. The sunspot cycles are usually about 11 years, but we’ve had an additional two years of lower sunspot activity this time around.

While I am a firm believer that the sun causes warming of the earth(only an idiot would believe otherwise)this guy is wrong. We are not warming at the moment and haven’t been for a few years now. If the sun was burning hotter right now why is it that the southern hemisphere is setting cold temp records right now.

“He added, however, that the study also showed that over the past 20 years, the number of sunspots had remained roughly constant, while the Earth’s temperature had continued to increase.”

And the earth wouldn’t have a large heat sink that would have dampened the affect, would it? Say like a large body of water.

Idiots.
