Just happened to catch a show, on the History Channel I believe, over the holiday, that somehow associated these dolmen with unusually large skeletal remains.

Saw it and thought of the many threads on FR over the years, but didn’t actually watch it long enough to hear anything specific, as far as where or when.

If the barrows have eroded, were the remains disturbed, or were they interred more deeply?

This is very interesting because of the age and the reminder of Stonehenge with regard to the elevating of very large stones as lintels. Is Stonehenge a tomb?
