I was an organic research chemist for a while. Evolution made perfect sense to me.

I was a computer programmer for a while. Evolution made perfect sense to me.

I was a systems analyst for a while. Evolution made perfect sense to me.

I’ve been a mathematician for some time. Evolution still makes perfect sense to me.

It’s not like I give it a free ride; I’m always questioning it and testing it against all the new things I learn, but it always winds up making perfect sense to me.

If you like evolution, I urge you to read “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” written by Sean Carroll several years ago. It wonderfully explains the economy and reuse of genetic details over millions on years. Lots of good material for scientific vs. religious arguments.
