I was surprised when I’ve repeatedly read that large bodies of water can cause quakes—such as large lakes behind dams.
Was wondering if the Great Lakes would get sloshed out of their bowls during an earthquake...mini Tsunamis? Earthquakes would take out a few lochs, some dams, and turn Niagara Falls into what?
(only recently learned that Lake Michigan gets icebergs, so those huge bodies of water have gotten my attention)
